Rain Rain Plz Don't Go Away....

We had so much in the rain this morning. K and R get wet in rain. we did some coloring, puzzles, shape game, and of course rainy day pictures :)

Abacus

Finally, I am ready to start abacus with my two kids. I was planning to start this in summer vacation but then I started full time job so I was just trying to set up everything with kids... K had so much fun with the abacus we bought it from IKEA. Now, I am starting soroban abacus with him. I will try to put some information about it.

Summer Vacation

Very hactic days for me but kids are having so much fun... K and R both enjoying their swimming classes a lot.. K is a very fast lerner.. he learns to swim in two weeks .. now he is in the advance level in swimming.. R is little bit sad as he is not in swim team this year.. but still enjyoing his swimming. K and R both are having so much fun in library, crafts and playing together and for me .... I got new job as their driver :) and enjoying my life with them. Still its a struggle to get time for the blog. I intoduce abacus to K and he is excited about it. I am planning to do some worksheet with him.

making a splash in reading...

so busy in life with lots of other things so couldn't get time to write in this blog... summer is here.. R has summer vacation so we've planned so many things for it. Main thing is R's favourite activity is visit library almost every day!! He is my book lover boy.. he can do anything for reading and now K is following his footsteps!! K loves to read... he is making up hard spellings by himself... at age 3 1/2 he started reading level 1 books and I was so surprised when he started reading level 1 chapter books. K is so much into reading these days as he is reading 10-15 books at a time...
other things we have planned for summer is lots of field trips, swimming, painting and introduce abacus to K and start abacus with R. I will keep you posted once we'll make some progress in that.

Bubble Fun

In the morning K was telling me that he is missing a lot his grandma ( as they left yesterday after 4 month stay with us) so we call her and after that he was feeling very happy and he agreed to play bubble with me. He had so much fun with bubble. He was popping the bubble, pretending to eat the GIANT bubble, imagining that bubble is reaching high to the plane and talking to grandma :).

LONG BREAK!!!!!

Its been almonst 5 months now.. i had not write any post in this blog. Life was so hactic these days. Had so much things to finish in this 'little' time.
During this time K has finished his bob books. He is so much into reading. He loves to read long words and try to sound out each and every words. He loves to do zigsaw puzzles. I found very good puzzles from dollar tree. If somebody is intrested dollar tree has very nice collection of zigsaw puzzles. It has all different kind of puzzles strats from 25 pieces to 500 pieces. I am working on his writing skills right now.

Number Match Game

We played number match game today. K enjoyed it. It was so easy for him so he lost intrest after doing it one time. I think I need some modification for number game now.

BOB Books!!!

I found set of bob books in a thrift store today for $2.40. K was so excited to see his books. He is so much into reading these days..He already read his first book today.

Alphabet join

K is showing more interest in alphabet lately. He had so much fun with his letter joining activity.

playdoh crayon holder....

K made playdoh sculpture today for morning craft and then he started to stuck his crayon in there and said look my crayon oller ( holder).

A for apple

we are working on letter A this week. We made A for apple for craft. I got this idea from here

letter of the week A

another letter A activity. we stick dry chick peace on letter A today for our morning craft time. He wanted to sign his name at the end of the craft just like his big brother :).

goldilock and three bear feltivities....

Just made papa bear, mama bear and baby bear from felt. It was pretty easy just traced out three bear from the book and made the stancil then put the stencil on the felt and cut it .Still working on other characters and stuff will post it once it will ready.

playdoh creation

while playing playdoh today k made some letters from playdoh by himself. He made letter J, O, U and C. He was so proud and happy to see his letters :) and my older one made lion and car from the book salt doh fun activities.

Lego sorting

we played lego yesterday first we made castle and then K started to sort out lego by color.

accident

we had little bit scary accident yesterday. I was cleaning up my kitchen cupboard and I don't know from where K got small dry pea in his hand and he was playing with it as a small ball. I was busy with my work and I had some weird feeling about that small ball so I asked him lets play small ball and he said .. small ball nosie.. I was scared but wanted to confirm it so asked him again and again and every time I got the same answer that ...K put small ball in nossie..I rush to the doctors office and luckily they took me in immediately and doctor took it out in 10 min. But the ball got doulbled in size because of liquid in nose. I will never forget this thing in my life....

Clouds and Rain

LO drew picture on chalk board this morning and called me mamma look couwd and rain (cloud) and I think its very pretty cloud drawing for two year old :)
